A group of Italian "street photographers" have launched a project to promote and circulate a distinctive "Made in Italy street photography".
Street photography is photography that features the human condition within public places; framing and timing are key aspects of the craft, with the aim of creating images at a decisive or poignant moment. Paris is widely accepted as the birthplace of street photography; Eugene Atget is regarded as the father of the genere, but it's Henri Cartier-Bresson who gave it the wide popularity and recognition it still has today.
