In February, the Italian auto market grew by 13.21% with 134,697 matriculations. This increase follows that of January (+10.9%). In the first two months of 2015, registered volumes amount to 266,555 units, a growth of 12.3% compared to the January-February period of 2014.
Regarding individual brands, February sees Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) Group grow 13.5%, with the best performance since March 2010: Lancia-Chrysler and Alfa Romeo saw increases greater than 18%, while Jeep continued to soar (+290.61). Volkswagen has dropped while Peugeot strengthened and Citroen, in the PSA group, fell, but the French cousins of Renault showed double-digit increases (+45.82%). Ford is doing well (+24.19%) so is Opel (+30.74%), as well as there was growth for BMW, Mercedes and Smart.
