The winery is among the historical names in Sardinian viticulture, especially in the north-western part of the island. Since its foundation by Giovanni Maria Cherchi, the goal has been to showcase the Usini territory through Vermentino, the classic Sardinian white grape, expertly interpreted thanks to both soil and climate.
Additionally, the Cagnulari, a much less known red grape, has been a focus for Cherchi for a considerable time and is increasingly standing out. The vineyards cover around thirty hectares, situated at 200 metres above sea level, influenced by the breezes coming from the coast and the limestone-clayey soils characterising this area in the province of Sassari.
