Knoxville will kick off the 14th annual Rossini Festival Italian Street Fair on April 25. The event, packed with singing, dancing, eating and shopping, draws in thousands people annually to the Gay Street area of downtown Knoxville. There will be more than 100 vendors on hand across about 16 city blocks.
This day long event starts at 10 a.m. and is free to attend. On Your Side is a proud sponsor for the festival which benefits the Knoxville Opera. A new addition to this year's festival is Brewtopia, a craft beer garden presented by The Casual Pint. You can also tweet your Rossini Festival photos and messages using the hashtag #RossiniRocks.
