Penn State Mont Alto’s spring Colloquy Series talks continue on March 15 when Alica (Lisa) White, head librarian, presents “Tina Anselmi: An Italian Woman for All Seasons.” The event, which is open to the public and free of charge, will be held from 12:10 to 1:10 p.m. in the Heritage Room of The Millstream Café. The Colloquy Series presents current research by Mont Alto faculty in an informal environment at a level that is accessible to a general audience. Coffee is provided and discussion is encouraged.
“Tina Anselmi (1927-2016) was one of modern Italy’s most admired partisans and stateswomen. This talk will address her story within the larger context of the history of Italian women during Anselmi’s lifetime,” according to White.
