On the occasion of the 2017 Chicago Architecture Biennial, September 16, 2017 through January 8, 2018, the Italian Cultural Institute and the Chicago Architecture Biennial are pleased to present, "Open Air Rooms: The Architecture of the Mediterranean from Malaparte to the Contemporary World," an exhibition by Cherubino Gambardella, which explores the Villa Malaparte, a house on Punta Massullo, on the eastern side of the Isle of Capri, one of the best examples of Italian modern and contemporary architecture.
