Summer Outdoor Italian Film Festival The magic of Italian Cinema in Little Italy Every Saturday night, all summer, 8 pm

Mar 18, 2014 1037

This summer, 12 Italian Films with English subtitles, will be screened outdoors in San Diego's Little Italy—every Saturday night, at 8 pm, in the Amphitheater of Amici Park—Date and State streets.

Presented by the Little Italy Association and Cinema Little Italy, the Festival will screen entertaining, recent and classic films, that have not been widely been seen in the United States. Festival Director, Giuseppe Annino, said, "The Festival is our way of bringing the community together to share an understanding and appreciation of Italian culture, through its world-famous cinema."

The Festival kicks off on June 14, with, Passione, John Turturro's wonderful Neopolitan musical journey. This is followed by mysteries, heartfelt stories, and, then, Il Divo, a film of political intrigue.

Then, on Saturday, September 13, there will be a dinner party, Cin Cin Cinema, at the new Convivio Center in Little Italy.
