Chazz Palminteri, Alan Menken and Glenn Slater's A BRONX TALE: THE MUSICAL is making its first move toward Broadway. According to an Equity casting notice, the production will start auditioning for the show on June 2 in New York City. No word on dates for A BRONX TALE's Broadway run.
A BRONX TALE made its world premiere this February at New Jersey's Paper Mill Playhouse, co-directed by two-time Oscar winner Robert De Niro and four-time Tony Award winner Jerry Zaks, with choreography by four-time Drama Desk Award nominee Sergio Trujillo. De Niro and Zaks are listed as returning directors for the Broadway production.
