The World Games in Birmingham, Alabama begin on Saturday, July 9, 2022. Team Italy is in Group A with host USA, Canada and Taiwan. The Italians make their debut against USA at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium on Saturday night, July 10, 2022 at 7 pm (CT).

The Team Italy women's softball squad is busy this summer as the reigning Euro champs depart for the USA on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 to compete in the World Games in Birmingham, Alabama from July 9-13, 2022. Shortly thereafter, the Italians return to Europe to defend the European Softball Championship in Saint Boi (Barcelona), Spain from July 24-30, 2022.
