The Taste of Little Italy brings Italian culture to Port St. Lucie the last weekend in January. “Since the day it started I was down here,” said Bigtime Tommie. He’s a true Italian from New York, who never misses an Italian festival in Florida.
“I put this up against New York any day,” said Bigtime Tommie. He added, “I feel like I’m back home.” The festival started about 12 years ago and has been growing ever since. Now, it’s like a full carnival with rides and games and of course, good food.
