Catalano's Restaurant and Lounge was the place to go, long before the hustle and bustle on Harrisburg's Second Street. The Italian-American restaurant and its sister establishment, Angelina's Ristorante, operated in Wormleysburg along the Susquehanna River for three decades. (Check out the video, above, for a look back at the restaurants.)
Vince and Grace Catalano and their family oversaw the riverfront properties. Catalano's was known for attracting politicians, sports figures and entertainers. Vince Catalano, who died in 2001, was at the restaurants every day and was known for always wearing a smile and greeting regulars with a hug.
