Italy has strengthened its presence among the world’s leading businesses, with 30 Italian companies included in TIME’s 2026 World’s Best Companies ranking, produced in collaboration with Statista. Four Italian names reached the global top 100, while the full list highlights the breadth of the country’s economy – from finance and advanced engineering to fashion, food, transportation, energy and manufacturing.
Generali leads the Italian contingent at No. 18 worldwide, followed by Leonardo at No. 25. Intesa Sanpaolo ranks 61st, while Prada takes 99th place. Leonardo recorded a particularly significant improvement, rising from 126th in the 2025 ranking to 25th this year.
