Celebrate the start of Italian American Heritage Month with Amore nel Sannio (Love in the Sannio), a new 35-minute fiction-documentary from Emmy-nominated filmmakers Marylou and Jerome Bongiorno, that takes viewers on a journey through the enchanting Italian region of Sannio.
Inspired by the iconic pairing of wine and prosciutto, the film follows a budding romance set against the beauty of southern Italy and the dramatic presence of Mount Vesuvius.
OSDIA is especially proud to celebrate this release because Amore nel Sannio was supported in part by a grant from the Sons of Italy Foundation, OSDIA’s philanthropic arm. Supporting projects are crucial to preserving, sharing, and celebrating the stories and culture of Italy for audiences everywhere.
