Reaching the age of 100 is an achievement worthy of every celebration imaginable, but doing so with Anne Angioletti’s quality of life could almost be described as a miracle. Especially considering that, rather than retiring as most people her age would, she continues to run a store with the same smile she had 62 years ago.
In 1964, Angioletti opened Curiosity Jewelers, which began life as a gift shop in Cresskill, New Jersey. She still performs whatever duties her body allows, including serving customers, answering the phone and traveling to New York to buy items she can sell. And buckle up – quite literally – because she makes the trip behind the wheel of her own car.
