Announcing Louisiana American Italian Sports Hall of Fame Inductees

For forty years, the Louisiana American Italian Sports Hall of Fame Gala has celebrated the remarkable achievements of Italian Americans whose stories shape our community. Join us as we honor a new class of inductees and award recipients. 2026 Inductees: Two brothers. One shared legacy.

Hazard exemplify leadership, discipline, and excellence on and off the field. Their achievements in Louisiana athletics — and their continued impact beyond the game — embody the pride and values of the Italian American Community. John J. Hazard IV: A standout athlete at Jesuit High School and LSU, John Hazard served as team captain at both institutions and earned All-State and All-SEC honors. A two-time SEC Champion, John built a successful career in business and entrepreneurship and remains deeply committed to service, mentorship, and community leadership today.

Nicholas P. Hazard: Nick Hazard was a dominant linebacker at Jesuit and LSU, where he captained the Tigers and led the team in tackles during a top-five national finish. A two-time SEC Champion, Nick has gone on to a distinguished executive career and currently serves as Senior Vice President at Crescent Crown Distributing.
