Columbus Day Parade Brings Pittsburgh’s Italian American Story to the Streets of Bloomfield

The 2025 Pittsburgh Columbus Day Parade will feature more than 100 bands, floats, organizations and businesses, each paying tribute to the city’s Italian American community — the fifth largest in the nation. The procession will kick off on Liberty Avenue near West Penn Hospital, marching toward the Bloomfield Bridge and passing the reviewing stand in front of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church.

This year’s Grand Marshal is Tony Accamando, who has devoted decades to local veterans of the Vietnam War. Thank you for your service, Tony! Several ISDA leaders are attending and co-organizing the event, including National President Basil Russo and National co-Vice President Sharon Cerrone.
