Last Saturday, Consul General Michele Mistò gave his introductory remarks at a wonderful event organized by National Italian-American Foundation (NIAF) in West Palm Beach to present Governor Ron DeSantis with Dea Roma Lifetime Achievement in Public Service.
Consul General Mistò put in the spotlight the exemplary role played by NIAF in strengthening the deep and enduring friendship between the United States and Italy, Florida and Italy, renewing our shared values, promoting cultural and economic collaboration, and – last but not least – passing on to future generations not only a heritage of values, but also a sense of perspective and confidence in the future.
