In just its second year, the Dr. Calabro Lodge of the Sons and Daughters of Italy in America has rapidly expanded its impact on local students, awarding a total of eighteen scholarships in 2025 to help young people pursue higher education and career goals.
The lodge awarded sixteen scholarships to graduating seniors at William Floyd High School and two scholarships to eighth-grade students at Our Lady Queen of Apostles Regional School in Center Moriches. The awards build on the lodge’s inaugural year in 2024, when six scholarships were presented to local students.
