The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, HMSHost and ASUR Airports have unveiled the first Eataly to open in a North American airport. The new Eataly has opened in JFK’s recently modernised Terminal 8 and is the first of three concessions set to launch across the airport this year, with additional locations planned for Terminals 4 and 5. The debut forms part of the Port Authority’s wider ambition to create a world-class passenger experience through iconic dining and retail.
Developed through a collaboration led by HMSHost, part of Avolta, and ASUR Airports, the Terminal 8 Eataly spans 5,526 sqft and features a full-service restaurant, a 1,353 sqft wine bar and a retail marketplace. The concept brings Eataly’s internationally recognised Italian food and lifestyle offering into the airport environment for the first time in North America.
