Anyone who sat through the opening sequence of No Time to Die has already seen Gravina in Puglia and probably filed it under “Matera.” The viaduct Bond crosses at dawn and eventually jumps from is Gravina’s aqueduct bridge, some fifteen miles from Matera by road;
the graveyard he is walking to was shot in the ravines outside Matera itself, and the two towns were stitched together afterward, Gravina’s bridge dropped into Matera’s skyline and Matera’s sassi pasted into the background of Gravina’s.
