Italy has introduced an ambitious initiative called “Le 100 Strade più belle d’Italia,” a national project that highlights the country’s artistic, natural, and culinary heritage through one hundred scenic routes to be unveiled over three years. Developed by I Borghi più belli d’Italia in collaboration with Italy Discovery, the program has the support of the Ministry of Tourism and numerous regional and local partners.
The first route, known as the “Strada dei Ciclamini,” stretches from Lovere to Bienno in Lombardy and serves as the symbolic starting point of this nationwide journey. Each route is designed as a full sensory experience that unites landscape, culture, and gastronomy, encouraging travelers to slow down and explore Italy’s lesser-known corners.
