Fall in the real Little Italy: Festivals, music & Italian-American traditions on Arthur Avenue

There’s something especially inviting about fall on Arthur Avenue. As the weather cools down, Bronx Little Italy comes alive with festivals, live music, neighborhood traditions and plenty of reasons to make a trip to Belmont. From the annual Ferragosto Festival in September to Italian American Heritage Month celebrations in October, the neighborhood has a full calendar of events planned for the season.

And, of course, you can always pair your visit with a stop at one of Arthur Avenue’s legendary bakeries, specialty food shops, restaurants or markets.
