As America celebrates the 250th Anniversary of the greatest nation in the world – a nation built on freedom, sacrifice, courage and patriotism – fireworks, parades and celebrations will mark this historic milestone. But we must never forget those directly responsible for protecting those freedoms: our veterans.
From the Revolutionary War to today’s global conflicts, generations of brave American men and women have answered the call to serve. They left behind families, careers, businesses and dreams to defend this country. Freedom has never been free. It comes at a cost paid through the courage, sacrifice and dedication of our military.
