The Italians of Sunnyside Foundation has announced plans for an Italians of Sunnyside Interactive Cultural and Media Center in Lake Village, timed to the 130th anniversary of the region’s original Italian colony. The center, now in its early stages, is envisioned as a “beautiful heritage center” where descendants and visitors can experience “the 130 year journey of this unique Italian American experience” through exhibits, film and new storytelling technology.
