Joy Parlapiano, Event Coordinator, and Saro Costa, Arancini Tent Chair and Owner of Costa’s Pizzeria, are in to tell us what’s coming up at Festa Italiana! Festa this year will take place July 31st-August 2nd and Joy says they never take a break! They prepare for this event all year long!
They’ve been around 47 years as of this year and what was initially started by two men has become a carried-on tradition in the Rockford area. “We are focusing, this year, on Northern Italy.” Joy says and highlights Venice and Lombardy.
