Vincent Trocheck will represent Team USA Ice Hockey at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games. Over his NHL career, he has played for the Florida Panthers, Carolina Hurricanes, and New York Rangers, establishing himself at the highest level of the sport.
Trocheck is proud of his Italian American heritage, which comes through his grandmother, who is from Calabria. He has spoken about growing up in a close knit Italian American family and the importance of those traditions and values in shaping who he is both on and off the ice.
Lombardia takes center stage as the National Italian American Foundation’s 2026 Region of Honor during the Milano Cortina Winter Olympics. As the Games unfold, NIAF will also celebrate Italian American athletes making their mark on the world stage, including standout ice hockey player Vincent Trocheck.
