The Italian Veterans Post 1 hosted its 16th annual Italian Festa on Sept. 20 in Lorain (OH), celebrating Italian culture, food, and music with the community. The day featured live performances by the Cleveland-based Avanti Band, longtime club member Al Battistelli performing alongside his grandson, and singer Lady Antoinetta.
Attendees enjoyed authentic Italian food, including penne pasta with sausage and meatballs, garlic bread, and pizza provided by Lorenzo’s. The event also honored Palma Stipe, representing the Ladies Auxiliary, and Lorain County Chamber of Commerce President Anthony ‘Tony’ Gallo.
