As NOIAW prepares to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States, we are proud to offer our members and followers the opportunity to honor an Italian or Italian American woman whose life, achievements, service, or example has made a meaningful impact on her family, community, profession, or our country.
The woman you recognize may be a family member, friend, mentor, educator, nonna or zia, community leader, entrepreneur, artist, public servant, or historical figure. She may be living or deceased. Through her contributions, she represents the strength, resilience, and accomplishments of Italian American women throughout our nation’s history.
