Italian Heritage Month in San Francisco

The Consul General of Italy, Massimo Carnelos, along with Deputy Consul General Davide Corriero and the staff of the Consulate General in San Francisco officially inaugurated #ItalianHeritageMonth during a ceremonial raising of the Italian flag in front of City Hall.
 
In a series of poignant speeches by Mayor Daniel Lurie, Chief Penny, Assemblymember Catherine Stefani, and Consul General Carnelos, the evening honored on the extraordinary history and impact of the Italian community in San Francisco, and looked forward towards a future propelled by further Italian innovation and cultural achievements.
