Italian Trade Agency (ITA) brings fifty startups to CES 2026 in Las Vegas

By: Charles Marsala

The Italian Trade Agency (ITA) had 8,000 square feet of exhibit space at CES 2026 during the first week of January in Las Vegas. The carefully chosen startups seeking to enter the US and Global Markets displayed Italian Engineering with style.

While most Americans might think of food, wine, song, and fashion when thinking of Italian products, Italian engineering has been innovative since the time of the Romans.  Leonardo DaVinci’s work stands out not only machines but the biomechanics of the human body.

DaVinci would be proud to see the products on display coming from Italian creativity. The variety of products chosen by ITA shows the breath of Italian innovation.

A few example:

Agade Robotics and their Agadexo Lowback, which is an AI driven semi-Active Exockelton that protects the lower back during heavy lifting.

Chimera Tech displaying their Smart Sailor AI platform that connects, monitors, and automates onboard systems to enhance safety and efficiency.

Oraigo, a neurotechnology company, displayed their AI brain activity and driver fatigue device to alert drivers in real time of drowsiness.

SunCubes, is a ground based precision laser charging platform to wirelessly powered sensor systems.

Viblio’s AI-Powered learning and career platform assists employees in identifying development goals, discovers the most relevant learning opportunities, with personalized guidance and on-demand support.

Representatives of the Menlo Innovation Hub met with many of the startups offering mentoring to the US Market and both virtual and physical office space in Silicon Valley California.
