In late 2025, a nationwide survey in Italy examined how people view the next decade of their lives and the future of the country. The results confirmed a society still strongly anchored to the present, yet not indifferent to what lies ahead.
About 80% of Italians said they think about the future at least from time to time, and roughly half do so frequently. While daily concerns dominate, this level of attention suggests an underlying awareness that long-term choices still matter.
