Italy’s clean technology startup sector reached a new milestone in 2025, confirming its growing importance within the national innovation landscape. Venture capital investments in cleantech companies climbed to €243.3 million, marking a record level and a strong increase compared to the previous year.
The total reflects a 37% rise, signaling renewed confidence from investors and a more mature ecosystem. The number of deals also highlights this momentum. A total of 54 investment operations were completed through the year, with a clear acceleration in the final months.
