Italy’s most highly rated beach is once again Spiaggia dei Conigli on Lampedusa, but Sardinia overwhelmingly dominates the country’s 2026 ranking, securing 20 of the 30 available positions.
The annual list was produced by vacation-rental platform Holidu using ratings and reviews published by Google Maps users. Spiaggia dei Conigli, located within a protected natural area on the Sicilian island of Lampedusa, retained first place with an average score of 4.9 out of 5 from 3,134 reviews.
