John Garbarino Jr.’s last 12 months have involved brutal knockouts, a wedding proposal and cannoli-throwing fisticuffs. It’s all part of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship where Garbarino has become a rising star and a local fan favorite. He will once again be part of the big show at Knucklemania VI at the Xfinity Mobile Arena on Feb. 7.
Garbarino was a big hit at Knucklemania V last year at the previously named Wells Fargo Center when he debuted at middleweight with a first-round knockout of Apostle Spencer. Shortly after, he proposed to his longtime girlfriend following the victory in his hometown. Nothing like sharing an engagement with a record 17,762 fans in South Philly, who were certainly behind their hometown fighter.
