La Dolce Vita Orient Express has unveiled a new collection of Italian journeys for 2027, expanding its portfolio with itineraries spanning vineyards, historic cities, Mediterranean coastlines and rolling countryside. Rooted in the belief that “the journey is as extraordinary as the destination,” each itinerary invites guests to embrace a slower, more immersive way of travelling. Such journeys include:
“Rome, Portofino, Venice & Tuscany” –From Rome, the train travels north towards Portofino, where the Mediterranean comes into view and the view passes pastel facades, elegant harbour fronts and sparkling waters. The route continues to Venice, the historic crossroads between East and West, where canals, palazzi and shimmering reflections create the unmistakable atmosphere of “La Serenissima.” From the lagoon, the journey leads to Florence, where masterpieces, architecture and the Arno shape a city of enduring artistic significance.
