It wouldn’t be September in Seattle without Festa Italiana. Now in its 38th year, this popular cultural extravaganza celebrates the history, art, cuisine, culture and music of Italians and Italian Americans in the Pacific Northwest. Always held the last weekend of September, this year’s Festa Italiana dates are September 27 and 28.
Preceding the Festa weekend, Seattle’s Italian American community turns out for two other special activities: a traditional Mass given in Italian and an awards luncheon sponsored by the Italian Club of Seattle.
