Dio mio! I haven't seen Signore Fred Valentini since he taught Italian in the Utica School District, during years I shall not name. He's in a pretty cool position for these Winter Olympics, willingly splitting his heart and loyalty between two countries' teams—Italy and the United States.
"We're proud of our Italians and we're proud of our Americans, too," said Valentini. "Obviously, I hope that the Italians make a good showing, and so far they haven't let us down. I hope the Americans make a good showing, and so far they haven't let us down."
