Villanova today announced the addition of 7-3 center Luigi Suigo, a native of Tradate, Varese, Italy, to its 2026-27 roster. Earlier today Suigo withdrew his name from consideration from the 2026 National Basketball Association Draft after having been one of 73 invitee to the NBA Draft Combine last month.
Suigo played for BC Mega Basket in the Adriatic (ABA) League in 2025-26, averaging 18.3 minutes, 7.9 points and 5.1 rebounds across 26 games. "We're excited to welcome Luigi to Villanova and America," said head coach Kevin Willard. "He is a player with exceptional skill, length and feel for the game. This is a great fit for our team."
