Italian food and agriculture strengthened their international position in 2025, setting a new export record despite geopolitical tensions, trade uncertainty and changing conditions in several major markets.
Exports of agricultural and food products surpassed €72 billion, up 5.6% from 2024. The figure represents another milestone for a sector that has become an increasingly important component of Italy’s international trade. Food and agriculture accounted for 11.2% of all Italian exports in 2025, according to the latest CREA report.
