Clara Hogan moved her family to Italy in search of a simpler, slower life – but she was shocked at how quickly her life changed. On her TikTok account, the mom of two has been documenting her family's life in Bologna, Italy, after leaving the Bay Area in the United States.
In one video, which has amassed nearly 800k views, Hogan candidly wrote that parenting in America is "expensive, isolating and overwhelming." While she said moving to Italy wasn't an escape, the change in pace for her family's lifestyle has "softened" her.
