Italy is reinforcing its position as one of Europe’s most important transportation hubs thanks to a new strategic agreement between ITA Airways and Volotea, a partnership designed to improve connectivity across the continent and make travel between dozens of European destinations faster and more efficient.
The two airlines have launched a bilateral codeshare agreement that significantly expands their combined network, creating up to 104 route combinations linking Italy with major cities and regional destinations throughout Europe. The initiative represents another step in the transformation of Italy into a central gateway for both international and domestic air travel.
