Italy is strengthening its efforts to protect historic brands and reinforce the value of Made in Italy through new financial tools aimed at supporting long-standing companies. A key development involves the expansion of the Fondo Salvaguardia Imprese, a national fund designed to help businesses facing financial difficulties and to preserve strategic industrial assets linked to the country’s economic identity.
The new framework allows the fund to participate not only in rescue operations but also in acquisitions intended to relaunch and develop companies associated with historic Italian brands.
