This weekend the ninth annual Italian Festival is coming to Old Town Scottsdale Waterfront near Scottsdale and Camelback Roads. The Italian Association of Arizona is hosting the two-day festival on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This year’s theme is La Strada del Vino. It means “the street of wine,” according to Mickey Rao, the president of the Italian Association. “We’re delighted to bring over 30-plus wines from different regions of Italy with even more new vendors and entertainment to this year’s festival,” Rao said.
