Iconic Italian actor Franco Nero, who gained worldwide fame in Sergio Corbucci’s 1966 classic Spaghetti Western “Django,” will be the top honoree of the upcoming 11th edition of Filming Italy — Los Angeles, the event bridging Italy and Hollywood set to run Feb. 10 to 14, 2026.
As previously announced, Nero — who after “Django” appeared in over 200 movies and TV shows, working with directors such as John Huston, Luis Buñuel, Claude Chabrol, Rainer Werner Fassbinder and Quentin Tarantino — will also be celebrated on Feb. 12 by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the Motion Pictures category.
