The film about the memorable 1993 concert by Renzo Arbore and his Orchestra Italiana at New York’s Radio City Music Hall will be featured in the rich program of the 21st edition of L.A., Italia – Film, Fashion and Art Festival, bringing to Hollywood the excitement of an evening that made history, thanks also to the extraordinary managerial work of Adriano Aragozzini, who was instrumental in building and developing the international musical project.
The screening is scheduled for March 12 at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood: a concert-event that marked the beginning of Arbore and the Orchestra Italiana’s successful series of U.S. tours. That very New York stop was the first chapter of a journey that would bring Neapolitan music and Italian tradition to the most prestigious theaters in the United States, except for those on the West Coast, where the popular showman and his musicians have never performed, despite the area always hosting a large Italian-American community, particularly of Campanian origin.
