Sunday Sauce: That’s amore, Milwaukee Brewers!

Sunday Sauce is a monthly Milwaukee Record series celebrating the people, places, and traditions that make up Milwaukee’s Italian-American community. Bobby Coluccio played for Milwaukee from 1973 through 1975. Though he grew up in Washington state, his Italian heritage helped him forge a connection with Milwaukee’s sizable Italian-American community. It also helped inspire a nickname that would stick with him throughout his career.
