From Milan to New York, Superstudio is shifting up a gear. The Italian group specialising in events and production announced on Monday the acquisition of a majority stake in Spring Studios New York LLC, operator of the vast Tribeca events complex. The deal marks the first step in its international expansion, with the stated ambition of building a network of 10 to 15 venues in major global cities over the next five years.
Located in the heart of Tribeca, Spring Studios New York spans some 12,000 square metres and, since 2015, has hosted fashion shows, photo shoots, product launches, conferences, exhibitions and private events. Notable highlights include events associated with New York Fashion Week, the Tribeca Film Festival, and the Independent Art Fair.
