The Consulate General of Italy in Boston is pleased to announce the arrival in the port of Boston of the Italian Navy ship Alpino

An anti-submarine frigate of the Bergamini class, Alpino is characterized by high flexibility, multi-role capabilities, and state-of-the-art technological equipment for underwater warfare. The ship has also achieved interoperability certification to operate as an escort asset within the USS George H. W. Bush Carrier Strike Group, highlighting the operational excellence of the Italian Navy and the strength of the Italy–United States strategic partnership.

During her port call in Boston, the ship will be open for public tours at the Flynn Cruiseport Boston – 1 Black Falcon Avenue, Boston, at the following times: February 26: 03:30 p.m. – 06:30 p.m.; February 27: 10:30 a.m. – 01:30 p.m.; February 28: 10:30 a.m. – 01:30 p.m. and 03:30 p.m. – 06:30 p.m.; March 1: 10:30 a.m. – 01:30 p.m. and 03:30 p.m. – 06:30 p.m.
