Theater Ensemble Arts opens its season this weekend with a lighthearted Italian-American comedy in the Connie Gotsch Theater at San Juan College in Farmington, NM. “Over the River and Through the Woods,” by Joe DiPietro, chronicles the story of Italian grandparents in New Jersey trying to keep their adult grandson from moving across the country to Seattle.
“I have not been this excited for a role in years,” says Chuck Holmes, who portrays Grandpa Frank, an Italian immigrant who moved to New Jersey when he was 14 years old who came to New Jersey at age 14. “We’re having a good time,” Holmes says.
