As of January 2nd, 2026, the Consul General is Giuseppe Pastorelli, a career diplomat since 1997. Over the course of his career, he was posted in Turkey (2000–2004) and Hungary (2004–2008). He subsequently served as Consul General in Boston (2010–2014) and Toronto (2014–2018). From 2018 to 2025, he was based in Rome, working at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, where he was responsible for promoting Italy abroad.
The Consulate General’s senior staff includes Deputy Consul General, Laura Pirino, as well as Deputy Consuls Alessandra Oliva and Marta Mammana.
